Here at Marcum Technology, we strive to develop and retain great relationships with our clients. We recently had the opportunity to work with an existing client, a leading bank, who needed to partner with an expert team to upgrade their NetApp storage environment. Since they had partnered with us on other projects before and had first-hand knowledge of our successful track record, they knew that they would be in the right hands. With nearly $50 billion in assets, 111 branches and three major data centers, our client needed to get their storage project done right and with minimum disruption to their extensive operations.
We immediately began conducting a thorough on-site assessment that catalogued the client's every need in detail. We then started writing a project plan ensuring that the work would be completed safely and timely. Also, that it would work within the tight schedule of change windows that were needed to ensure fully functioning operations throughout the project life cycle.
Running on a tight schedule, our team needed to complete the software upgrades in the dead of night while the banking world slept until they had a successful upgrade. Meanwhile, Marcum Technology's Engineer was on-site at the bank's data center, carefully building the infrastructure to support the changes, while the project manager regularly kept the clients informed along the way.
While the project was underway, our client wanted to introduce a change in their plans and Marcum Technology's change control process produced a seamless transition.
Migrating critical data is the most sensitive piece of the plan in a storage project. Our team ensured that the bank experienced a smooth migration without any loss of any data. All sites were vigorously tested and the Marcum team closed yet another successful project for a very happy client.
